After 11 long weeks, we're super proud to present our work for Coldplay's Hymn For The Weekend music video.
Almost every shot in this video passed through our hands including: Designing meticulously detailed kaleidoscopes for Beyoncé's backdrops, Facial replacements (correcting performance/eyes/lip-sync). Chris Martin was also completely replaced in a couple of shots to enhance the editorial perfectness. CGI Monks Cloth & Flags, Flowers, fireworks, Birds & Peacocks, Sky replacements, Smoke, Coloured Particles, Dust, Several Set Extensions, Trees, Tree Roots, Tv's, Fire Blowers, Posters, Flare Removals, Boats, One entirely CG scene and tons of general Clean-up & Beauty work.
For the Kaleidoscope scenes, we created more than twenty seven styles & variations (below are some samples) and so was the case with the Bio-scope projection box.
Easter eggs:
Check out the trippy roots shot on 3:30 - try catching the subtle movment of the roots.
There's a total of 6 live peacocks planted in the clip, try catching them all.
PS.
Check out our projection mapping for Hanukkah - it's really awesome!
